Para'Kito Review

I had a busy week preparing for my nephew's birthday. Because of my skill in safekeeping, haha, we reused last year's party hats and some excess balloons, I even redesigned the birthday banner--that's how practical this savvy Aunt is! I also cooked his special request--spaghetti ala Jeni:)

As for my gift, I'm also very practical- I gave him a Para'Kito band.

This is not an ordinary bracelet. Para'Kito is a portable and refillable mosquito repellent device made in France. It is composed of  an accessory (either band or clip) and  an active pellet to be placed under the netting  of the accessory, in order to avoid skin contact. Band can be worn on wrist or ankle while the clip can be attached to a bag, pack, belt, or stroller near you. It can be used in all geographic areas, whether tropical or temperate.

Each pellet is good for 15 days. These pellets, which are waterproof by the way, diffuse a blend of 7 essential oils extracted from plants which naturally protects from mosquitoes.

Product includes a very cute and  creative manual, passport-style. They offer so many colors and even designs for the band collection- (Colour and Graphic), also for the clip collection as well.

Para'Kito Wrist Band lining is very smooth

I tried it on first. I was impressed on how lightweight it was, even with the pellet inserted! After a while, I barely noticed that it's on my wrist. Very comfortable to wear- here's the proof: I placed it on my already sleeping nephew and he didn't notice it, by morning he only removed it when he needed to wash his hands for breakfast. Actual band dimension is 12 x 3 cm. Neoprene accessories are hand washable in water.

He enjoyed wearing this band together with his basketball jersey and shorts. This little guy is so loving his sporty ensemble:) And I love the fact that he's safe from notorious mosquitoes lurking just about anywhere...and he looked so cute with this 'wrist candy':)
